Privacy Policy

NTMY records audio that you choose to capture and turns it into notes. This policy explains what data is handled, why it is needed, and how you can ask for help or deletion.
Data we handle
- Account data from app sign-in, such as your account identifier and the email or name shared with the app.
- Audio recordings you create in the app, but only for transcription and note generation.
- Generated notes, raw transcripts, recording mode, processing status, and sync metadata needed to show your notes across devices.
- Purchase and subscription records needed to provide paid minutes, top-ups, refunds, and restore-purchase behavior.
- Support messages you send to us, including the email address you use and the details you choose to include.
How we use data
We use this data to authenticate your account, process your recordings, create notes, sync notes, prevent abuse, provide paid minutes, respond to support requests, and keep the service reliable.
Audio and transcript cleanup
NTMY records audio locally while recording is active. After you stop, the completed audio uploads for transcription and note generation. Local temporary audio and service-side temporary audio are deleted after a successful note. Temporary transcript records are deleted or scheduled for deletion after processing when the service supports it.
Service providers
NTMY uses trusted service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, purchases, transcription, note generation, security, and support. These providers process data only as needed to run the app and provide the requested features.
Notes and encryption
Notes are stored on device and synced through the NTMY backend. Notes are encrypted so they are intended to be readable only by the signed-in Apple account owner.
Your choices
You can delete notes in the app. You can delete your account from app settings when available, or contact support and ask us to delete account data associated with your app account. Some purchase records may need to be retained where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations require it.
